Pardon me, you are correct......But the last post I could find on him was in March of 2007.......Does anyone know if there is an update on his ability, standing with our coaching staff, or just an update in general? He is a monster, in the film clip on television last night he looked like a house running down the court.

Well, he's a big kid with LOTS of work to do to be ready for D1, athletically and academically. I am fairly certain he has some ties to Mantas, but I believe if we want him at WSU, then that's where he will be.

He needs a year or two at a juco and much conditioning.
He has some skill sets but must have a prolific off season weight training program and competition against others his size to be what we need. There are D-1 schools that are looking at him, in fact, one that beat us recently.

The connections have been made. The caliber of player Sunrise will get from overseas will increase over time.
Maybe as early as the next year or two. Doesn't hurt to have a Westbury Christian (Houston) or Mt Zion (North Carolina) type school in our backyard.
