Signing Period

The early signing period starts Monday. Last year we signed David Kyles without an earlier verbal. Fans knew about David however and it was not a big surprise that he signed.

Signing anybody besides besides KT and Jerome during the early period this year would be a huge surprise.

I enjoyed it. But the funny thing is I didn't even sit in my seat. I have a friend who has 3 tix who was out of town for a show whose in-laws gave me their seats so I took my brother and his wife. Still, it's a good feeling to be part of the "membership" and have a guaranteed seat to each game. I look forward to watching the game from my seat next to the student section on Sunday.

I was kind of looking at our recruits profile on the scouts website, and they have Kenny Manigault as the 23th best PG prospect in the nation. Did they just change that or have they always had him ranked that high?

We've seen plenty of doubters on here about the opinions expressed by Rivals, but it's nice to see someone put Manigault at the top of their list.

I thought it was also interesting to see that they were apparently pretty impressed with the guys George Mason is expected to sign, and that none of K-State's highly ranked DC Assault gang made the top of the list at their positions in the Big 12.

i'm very interested to see if he could get bumped up to a 4* by either scouts or rivals in the spring

He was once a 4* on Scout. So I'd say it's possible if he has a very good season.
