We are looking at Marcus Brister who is in the class of 2009 at Weatherford (TX) CC. He is a powerful 6-3 to 6-4 PG who has a good shot and makes his teammates better with good ball distribution.
He signed with Iowa State but left the team after three games last year in his freshman season for personal reasons to return home. He had offers from Cincinnati, UTEP, Nebraska and others before signing with Iowa State
Before that he was a 5th year player at God's Academy Prep in Dallas (12ppg).
He played his senior season a Duncanville where he averaged around 18 ppg. While at Duncanville (always one of the best HS teams in the nation) he was looked at by Texas A&M, Baylor and Minnesota. During his senior season he was a Rival's 3 star and Scout 2 star.
Other schools currently interested in Brister are TCU, ORU, Miami and Nebraska.
