    The Shockers are interested in Shawnee Mission Northwest's Steve Carver. He is a 6-8 PF with 18.3 ppg, 10rpg during his sophomore year. He is in the class of 2010. Other schools with interest are Kansas State, Iowa, Oregon State, Cornell, Denver, Rice, Columbia, Baylor, Oklahoma and Colorado State.

    This season will determine whether or not this kid stays interested. He would probably also be able to come in here and get some playing time as well.

      He's raw but apparently made some strides late in the summer to attract at least some attention.

          Carver gets his first offer. It's from Holy Cross and he will give them a visit. According to the family, WSU is still in the running along with Tulsa, Colorado State, UMKC, New Hampshire, Northeastern, Northern Iowa, Murry State and K-State.

          Carver will look for more schools and offers during the HS season.
