If the Ehimen talk is true, maybe this is the guy that the staff needs to be on hard to see if they can land him. If the Ramon talk is true it would definitely be nice to get another big in.

Say both of them don't play this season. That would leave us with:

    C - Garrett Stutz - 7'
C/F - JT Durley - 6'7" if his foot heals and he's in shape...
    F - Aaron Ellis - 6'9"
    F - Mantas Griskenas - 6'7" hopefully he'll be fully recovered.

That's not near as comforting inside as we felt last week. Although the odds of us landing him I'm sure are slim considering the competition and time frame. But options are limited at this point in the game.

He would be nice but at 200 lbs he is not an inside banger. There is potential PT for him this year. Perhaps that will help.

He may not be a banger but he'd give us more talent and athleticism inside as well. And a little more height.

Lets get him, ala Aaron Ellis.

He does sound like ala AE with maybe a little more dribbling ability. He would be a good get at anytime, great for this time of the year.

I would imagine that we have a full court press on this guy right now

6'9" would help out quite a bit, even if he isn't a banger. It still creates matchup problems, especially if he can step outside and light it up.

Other than some talk about him possibly attending Indiana's elite camp this month, no. I don't know if he went or not.

The article is basically saying Wilkins situation is still unknown. He is still overseas. Probably better odds that he will be a '09 recruit but very possible that he will come back to the US soon.

The three possibilities are he remains overseas for a year and comes back with all eligibility issues taken care of, comes back and becomes eligible this year, or comes back and goes prep.

I'll add that a poster on the Indiana board has said he is in the process of enrolling at a D-1 school other than Indiana. That was not mentioned in this article be shouldn't be counted out.

Wilkens commits to Bradley. See bradleyfans.com.

The Braves fans are happy and they should be. But reality is the chances of him playing in '08-'09 are only fair at best. After that he just might be available again.

It not surprising. Bill "Flash" Flanigan, the talent evaluator who assisted getting Wilkens on to the AAU team and was the assistant coach to his father is now based in Peoria.

That really sucks. But, Bradley has been known to snag some nice talent from time to time.
