I haven't been able to locate much info on him yet, but we have interest in this 6-7 player from the class of 2010. He also is getting looks from College of Charleston, Clemson, South Carolina and Virginia Tech.

The Fort boys improved to 6-0 on the year with an 85-63 victory over Stall, which dropped to 1-7. In large part, the game turned into a shootout between the Fort’s R.J. Slawson and Stall’s John Gadsen. Slawson posted an impressive 33 points while Gadsen had 25. Corey Wright added 16 for the Patriots and Laurez Matthews had 13. Stall’s Brian Brown contributed 18.

Well, Russ, as a certain former coach (who used to overuse the expression "at this level") said, Wichita State is a high-major program in a mid-major conference.

Maybe the writer recognizes that, too.

Slawson just picked up an offer from South Carolina. Other offers are College of Charleston,
SC State and UNC-Wilmington. Auburn, Temple, Georgia and Memphis are looking. No mention of WSU.

He specifically mentioned Bama and VT as well.

No surprise as Slawson verbals to South Carolina this morning.

Speaking of South Carolina, they have a few minor violations and perhaps one major one to discuss with the NCAA. Some of these are alleged to have happened during the new coaching staff's tenure.
