Sam Dower-Verbals to Gonzaga

Sam Dower is a 6-9 PF/C at Osseo Sr. Hi in Osseo, MN. As a junior he averaged 15 ppg and 10 rpg playing center but he believes he is a natural power forward. He is getting attention playing that spot and even a little at the SF with his AAU team, Net Gain Sport. He already has offers from Iowa, St. Louis, UNI, Wisconsin-Green Bay, Wisconsin-Milwaukee, George Mason, Montana and Drake. He has the interest of WSU, Gonzaga, Minnesota, Indiana State, Illinois State and Marquette.

He has attended St. Louis' elite camp and will visit George Mason and Gonzaga.

Closeness to home will be a factor but also how a school plans to use him.

Gonzaga and George Mason are Dower's current top two. No more visits currently planned and a decision will probably be made before the high school basketball season starts.

Dower is drawing lots of attention at the Reebok All-American Camp. Mason and Gonzaza should expect some pretty stiff competition.
