Rival's article on Hamilton's verbal is out. It adds that he is a strong student. He also took an unofficial to SIU. I don't believe many knew about their interest in him.

A little video of the springy mr. hamilton ...

Jerome Hamilton (assist Keith Crump) - Georgia Elite - Rumble in the Bronx
“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

The modus operendi remains the same with this staff... athletes, athletes and more athletes. If you can run like a gazelle, jump out of the gym and work like crazy, these guys will find you.
My understanding is this kid really bonded with Coach Grant. 8)

What I'm really liking so far is that it appears we're going to follow up a great recruiting class with at least a good one. It could afford us the ability to redshirt a guy like Hamilton, much like we did with Cooz.

Rivals agrees with ShockRef that Grant was a big part of Hamilton's decision. We were apparently on him since his HS season. Sign up with MaxAtheltic (it's free) and you can see one of Hamilton's AAU games. Also playing in the game are two other team mates the Shocks have interest in and a 5 star 6-9 forward who has committed to Clemson.

6'5 - 6'7 Small Forward who can put the ball on the floor and shoot the 3.

At least that's what I want...

You are both right, but I think we need the backup center to Stutz more than the 3. What if Stutz gets in foul trouble?

Granted, after Hawk leaves we will need the 3, but right now we need the backup center more. Ellis can always fill in at the 3 since we have 2 4's coming in next year. (Blair and Hamilton).

Here is the thing though what centers are out there that we are recruiting. With blair, and hamilton plus durley we are good at the 4.

Ellis, Murray, and perhaps Kyles can back-up Hawkins. Lets get a center. I am guessing we will get both a center and a SF and someone will leave.

:good: FSF is diggin on the early verbals for next year. It all starts with defense and it sounds as though we have some sleepers that might not have been still available if we would have tarried.

That's kind of what I was figuring on too. At least I expect 2 more to sign, cause someone will undoubtedly leave.

If we go center, I'd like to see a JuCo who's ready to go.

That would add to JT and Gabe's class leaving Garrett one year, and EO 2 years behind.

IF they bring in a C you'd have to think it would be JUCO. It's the only one that would really make sense.

I still think they bring in another wing.
