Alec Burks-Verbals to Colorado

Burks has been mentioned in our "Kansans to keep an eye on...." thread and now we have word form Rivals that the Shockers are recruiting him. He plans to attend our elite camp. He was just at K-State's and will also be going to Missouri's. He a 6-4 SG from Grandview, Mo. and plays with Spiece Mo-Kan. He has offers from Missouri State and UMKC and interest from K-State, Missouri, Wisconsin-Green Bay and Santa Clara.

Schools in the running for Burks are WSU, K-State, Colorado, Missouri State and Santa Clara. He is leaning to K-State and Colorado and has visits set with them. All five schools have offered.

Burks plans to sign in the Fall.

Burks' visit to K-State is this weekend. Here are some other visits for this weekend with recruits we have been following:

Vetrail Vaughs will visit his current favorite, George Mason.

Philmore will visit George Washington. It's pretty well know his chances of returning to Kansas are slim. UMass has a good chance of getting him.

Nate Hutcheson will be going to Albany who is one of his offers.

Matt Read will visit St. Louis.

Dyrius Simms-Edwards will be at Iowa.

The big day is tomorrow for Zag fans as they will host Sam Dower. If they don't get him, I'll worry about their mental health.
