Ivo Baltic Commits to Ohio

A 6-7 SF from the KC area. His high school is Park Hill South in Riverside, Mo. He is playing AAU with Spiece Mo-Kan. Scout calls him a strong mid-major prospect that plays the perimeter but can go to the blocks and gets to the glass well. He had a solid junior season and made the all metro, all conference and all district teams. MoSports believes he will be one of the best in Missouri next season.

He has an early offer from St. Louis and is getting looks from WSU, Missouri State, Iowa, Arkansas, Kansas State and UMKC.

Parents are Serbian but young man has spent most of his life in the United States. Can play somewhat of a combo role in college. Sturdy frame, good touch to mid-range. Love how he passes the basketball. Mid-major prospect for sure.

IMO Baltic would be a good catch for a future SF for us. Van Coleman had this to say after watching him at the Bill Hensley Memorial last weekend:

"This sweet shooting wing man continues to impress with his jumper and ability to use it to set up dribble drive. He is a good passer too, so look for mids and high majors to take a look."

"Ivo caught my eye by playing a nice inside outside game for most of the weekend. He is not afraid to mix it up inside, or take guys outside and shoot. His shot has good form but he needs to improve his consistency. He is also an underrated rebounder and shot blocker who played well against great athletes."
