  • Transfer?

Paul S. in his blog says we might be giving that last scholorship to a transfer whom will be eligible next year. Does anyone heard whom that might be. I hope it is not the big boy from Colorado.

That's what I was wondering. Why not have 3 footers on the roster? That would be at least 2 more than any other league school has. Then coach could go really big with two on the court at the same time.

That's what I was wondering. Why not have 3 seven footers on the roster? That would be at least 2 more than any other league school has. Then coach could go really big with two on the court at the same time.

Unless they have major ups, I can think of a lot of reasons not to have 3 footers on the team.

Because it's too easy to block their shot.

But seriously, the info, which is actually in the "Ask Paul" area, says the potential transfer would have to sit out next year.

I understand the transfer would have to sit out, but he'd be around for the 09-10 campaign.

Another 7' player might actually benefit Stutz... and hopefully EO. :good:

If they're looking at a D1 transfer, then they feel good about EO's arrival, and this is the best player available.

Ekpe Udoh, a 6'9 PF from Edmond, OK has decided to transfer from Michigan. Udoh started 31 games in his 2 seasons with career. He averaged 6 pts and 5 reb and 3 blocks in 28 min/game.

He didn't say why he was transferring, but indications are he may have wanted to be closer to home.

IIRC, WSU was on his list at one point before he committed to Michigan.
