You never know. We weren't mentioned in that article. Does that mean we're out? I can't tell ya.

        Blair

Surely the arrival of Gabe Blair will reduce WSU's interest in PFs for a while. Even after Clemente and Griskenas finish up, they'll still have Ellis (at most a junior by then), Blair (junior), and Durley (junior) for 2009-10.

I'd be looking for more interest in wing-type players -- Noel Johnson, anyone? -- or possibly another PG.

Maybe, but there's a nice list of PFs that we're recruiting and a rather small SF list at the moment. Of course that all can change but I still wouldn't be surprised to see a PF brought in next year. But with only two 'ships to give....

I would think SF and anything else. I guess a lot of it depends on where Ellis ends up being best used and if Durley gets "it". And if they think Kyles can be a PG. C probably is at the bottom of the list.

It also depends on whether Blair will see any time at the 3.

He was listed as one of the top performers at the aTm camp. Apparently he was THE man inside

For those who don't subscribe to Scout, we are on top of all those listed by them. They all have threads and are on the '09 recruiting summary along with many more than Scout is reporting.

My guess is he'll select a B12 school. He's got a nice list in the article of aTm, Baylor, Missouri, Marquette, OSU, Zona, Texas State, TCU, Houston, Nebraska, Memphis and KSU.

All of those but Zona and KSU have offered according to Rivals.

There have been many articles on him without mention of WSU. Chances are slim that he is still interested in the Shockers. Sub will probably be proved correct on Turner's destination.

The above article is a free release from Scout which covers current Texas A&M recruiting. I'm posting it for the information on Ray Turner and 2010 recruit Jamel Outler.

Turner is said to be the most impressive player at A&M's elite camp this summer. However I read into the article that A&M is low on available 2009 scholarships and they may go with either Turner or 4 star guard Nick Russell from Arlington, Texas.

Jamel Outler once again visited the A&M campus an they are his favorite with Baylor, Texas and a few others slightly behind.

Sounds like it'll come down to aTm and OSU. Maybe Mizzou, Zona and Minnesota. He's preparing for visits

He doesn't appear to be in a hurry but at the moment the two front runners appear to be aTm and Marquette.

With an assist from former Shocker Randy Burns, Ray Turner commits to Texas A&M.

Turner's youth basketball coach and surrogate father was influenced by Burns statement to him that, "if it wasn't for coach Turgeon, I would not be the man I am today."
