Rubit is a 6-7, 220lb PF from Houston Smiley HS, class of '09. Late in the season he was averaging 23ppg and 13 rebounds for a very strong team. He's had offers form Stephen F. Austin and South Alabama for some time. Besides WSU, interested schools are Utah, Tennessee, Clemson, Texas A&M, Baylor, Houston, Kentucky, Marquette and Tulane.

Sounds like his early favorite is SFA. He wants to play a lot and play early. But he also wants to win and I'm not sure what SFA's records have been like. Don't expect a decision until the end of summer.
