Augustine Rubit To South Alabama

Stephen F. Austin had a great record last year in the Southland Conference. They got thumped by UMass in the first round of the NIT. Other than last year, 2004 and 2003, their winning percentage hasn't been very good for ten years or so. Most of their best players should be back next year. SFA has probably been on him the longest and hardest and we will see if that keeps them in the running. He already has a Valley offer and will receive more from other good conferences.

That doesn't completely surprise me. They've recruited a number of kids that we have as well and landed a few of them.

He's doing well and getting alot of interest. He rattled off a group of schools and we weren't one of them. His HS is merging with another HS and the new school will be North Forest.
