A 6-4 SG/SF from Dubuque, Iowa is hearing from WSU, Creighton, Iowa, Iowa State, Wisconsin-Milwaukee and has offers from Indiana State and Northern Iowa. He is in the class of 2009. This year he was the class 3A Iowa player of the year. It didn't hurt his cause in the voting to hit a 35 foot buzzer beater to win the state 3A championship.

He could also be a Division 1 football player. Plays quarterback in HS but if he plays in college it would probably be at another position. Iowa and Iowa State are interested in him for football. He is better known for basketball however. He will decide this summer on which sport is for him in college.

May is ranked #1 in the State for basketball players in the class of 2009 by IowaPreps. WSU and Butler have watched him in open gyms. Iowa and Iowa State have made inquiries.

Sounds like a pretty good kid with a good head on his shoulders and a pretty good family. That on top of the talent would be something that may be beneficial to any team that wants him.

Now has basketball offers from UNI, St. Louis, Indiana State and Loyola-Chicago. WSU, Iowa, Iowa State are still apparently interested but have not offered.

In football there are no offers but interest from Iowa, Iowa State and UNI.

His decision between basketball and football has been pushed back to this Fall.

Rumors surfaced that he'd committed to Butler but they haven't offered yet. May is in no hurry to make a decision and plans on taking some visits as soon as the AAU season ends. He and the All Iowa Attack have had a good summer.
