Grayson Carter 6'9 PF 2018 to Georgetown

According to Rivals, Wichita State is one of four schools working hardest for 6'9 forward Grayson Carter out of Denton, Texas. Those other three schools are Arkansas, Georgetown and Colorado. Grayson just took an official visit to Cal this week. He holds offers from those five schools plus UCLA, Texas, TCU, Texas A&M, SMU, Houston, Tulsa, LSU, Iowa St, Oklahoma St and Nebraska. He plays AAU for Dallas Showtyme, an unaffiliated team. He's ranked #194 in his class by 247 Sports, #209 by Scout, received 3-stars from Rivals and an 82-grade from ESPN.

This guy is really polished. Below-the-rim player that's super smooth with his back to the basket, but can step out to the three point line and hit. An array of moves in the post, shoots with both hands. If you want the big man version of FVV, this kid looks like it. Never gets in a hurry, body is always balanced, takes his time and does a nice job of setting up the defenders where they can be exploited. Not surprising he has a lot of major offers.

1.9 bpg isn't bad for a below the rim player. He also has pretty good handles for a 6'9" 225 lb. big and 8 rebounds is good too.
