Darius Days 6'7 F 2018 to LSU

Given the information that Erik Stevenson has been talking with Darius about Wichita State, I figured it was time we had a thread on this guy (he's been on the 2018 thread for quite awhile). Coach Donnie Jones has been recruiting Darius since the spring evaluation period but it has yet to be reported that the Shockers have offered. It will be a long shot to land this prospect, but crazier things have happened in recruiting. Darius Days holds 25 offers - including Kansas, Louisville, Ohio St, Cincinnati and Memphis to name a few. Rivals ranks him #68 in the class, 247 Sports #58 and ESPN #79. Darius plays for the Florida Vipers on the Under Armour circuit and was one of the better performers in the league throughout the season averaging 19 points and 9 rebounds per game while shooting 40% from three and 83% from the free-throw line. He was second in the league in rebounding and fifth in scoring.

My god, that camera work on the full court pass at 0:24 in the video was a work of art.

Also, Darius looked pretty good too. I love the arc and ball rotation on his shot. He doesn't really jump when he shoots it, but man does that ball get high quick.

We have a long way to go to be a Top 3-5 finalist but Darius would also be a game changer. Another Donnie Jones recruit, at 6'7, 220 and with his athleticism/speed, he is ready to be a go to guy in his first year. He is a true stretch forward, with perimeter skills, inside skills, and shooting skills.

We're gonna miss Greg, but I'm hopeful AC Donnie Jones will more than make up for his loss. Probably would have seen more evidence of that had Donnie been in the college BB recruiting mode when he joined us but we probably won't see that for another year or two.
