Damn...kid seems to like to talk more than 3G would allow, but I'm a little surprised he's not rated higher. Highlight video is pretty damn impressive to my untrained eye.

Ashockalypse really wouldn't like my comments on this one.

Impressive athlete, but no thanks. I'd rather not see those antics in a Shocker uniform.

Not bad at all. I think the environment was conducive to showboating and ishtalking. I would be loath for my behavior at 17 to be the measuring stick for my potential as a citizen.

No thank you. I hate the antics and the attitude and his skill level definitely doesn't warrant it.

I don't worry about those things. Our coach knows hoe to create disciplined teams. I Rembrandt last year when Mike K. asked him a question about the teams confidence being low (after a couple of losses). Gregg 's comment was that this team didn't lack confidence, if anything they were too confident. He said it like they weren't going to like the practices coming up.

Y'all really think our guys don't talk when they're on the court? Come on.

Oh they talk, but if they talk instead of getting back on defense, their next talk is usually with 3G.

Watch Shaq whispering "sweet nothings" to Bam in the Kentucky game... Bam woke up in the second half.

Who doesn't! That makes the game more intense with a little trash talk! Lol

If this kid is even close to being as good as he looks, I wouldn't worry about the other stuff as our coaching staff would cure that in a heartbeat.

I don't know, but 3G offered him a schollie, he must see something he can work with.

I'm guessing this is a Donnie Jones recruit.

Michael Jordan was a trash talker.
Guess he wouldn't have fit in with the shockers.

Larry Bird was known for his trash talk as well. Larry Legend indeed. I suppose it's okay to talk the talk as long as you can walk the walk.

Now whether he did much of that in college or saved that for the NBA I'm not sure.

Check out Story #18 in the above link with some video and commentary. A former Shocker great is involved.
