The blue bloods have probably already found their next way of paying for players now that the shoe companies are done. The next method of paying players will certainly have no relation to the school, its boosters, or anyone in their athletic departments. They will also do their communications in person and not in text messages or on the phone.

    6'11" 5* guys don't come cheap.

They also leave after one year, and they don't play team ball unless there is an entire team of first-round NBA types on the team. UK is only a college basketball team in name. They're really a minor league for the NBA.

The one-and-done guys use their college year to gain exposure to people who buy stuff. That raises their signing contracts by more than they would make by playing Euro ball for a year. Want to try to bench one of those guys because they decided to take a week off in practice or don't want to work on defense?
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.

Certainly there are plenty of examples of the player you are describing, and certainly players that are “sure fire lottery picks” can make the choice to be the player you are describing, but I hesitate to judge a player’s work and personal ethics by their star rating.

To bad he does not see the opportunity to be a Shocker. Good news is that we have a good group of young bigs in the fold right now. Never like to see Kentucky benefit from a Kansas connected player.

Aside from his unofficial visits to some games, is there any indicated interest Dante has in the Shox? Just curious if I’ve missed anything

Pin, what’s the gist of the story? It’s behind a paywall.

It said he's gonna pay his way for a year at Wichita simply to go up against Wiseman a couple times and then they both go get paid the following year. Lol.

Only if he shows he can set picks as efficiently as Evan did. That's asking maybe too much...

Not to be confused with the Walken story of the Century.
