JJ Rhymes 6'4 G 2018 JUCO to Grand Canyon

Looks like JJ may have taken a visit to Wichita State today. He's a 6'4 guard from Hutch Community College. Averaged 16 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists per game as a freshman. Have any of our Hutch friends watched this young man play?

Only bad stat is the 26.7% from 3. A/TO ratio is 1.4. Gets to the FT line a lot. Overall FG% is around 47%. Those stats seem to indicate that he goes to the basket a lot. 69.8% FT shooter.

IIRC, he could get hot and score in bunches. Opposing teams naturally focused on Samajae and Juiston. Rhymes will likely be their go-to scorer this year.

After a redshirt season, Rhymes was injured 12 games into his Junior campaign and sat out the rest of the season. He's now transferring for his senior year. I'm assuming he can play immediately.
