WSU is showing interest in 6'3 guard Gavyn Elkamil from Pittsburg, Kansas. Gavyn is regarded to be the second best player in the state's 2020 class, behind only Ty Berry of Newton. Currently no other interest or offers to report at this point in his recruitment. Gavyn plays for Pittsburg High and is running with Mo-Kan Elite on the AAU circuit.

Gavyn is a better ball handler. Both can stroke it. Ty is more bouncy. Gavyn has a unique assortment of shots (runners, teardrops, pull ups) which one usually doesn’t see in high school. Lots of his highlights on Hudl—you will see what I mean.

According to 2nd year Shocker assistant softball coach, Elizabeth Economon, who served as the Pitt State head softball coach for 6 years before joining HCKB's staff last year the winner is Bardo's in Frontenac (just on the north side of Pittsburg).
