It is becoming glaringly obvious (and it's scary) how much the MVC was holding Gregg Marshall back.

I saw him listed as a point guard and as a 2 guard. If we see him as a point guard, I can see us putting on a press.

Almost everyone lists him as a point. His weakness seems to be his shooting and while inconsistent, he's a good shooter. I think he is scratching the surface with potential.

We still need to see the Shocks close the deal with some of these guys (although Rodgerick Brown and Erik Stevenson, once he signs, are an encouraging start). But your point is well taken.

Not real encouraging as far as the Shocks are concerned when a player only has 5 official visits he can take and you are the only one of his 6 finalists he doesn't mention it talking about scheduling his visits.

I think 3G and staff need to put the full court press on Alex Lomax and Serrel Smith this weekend.

I doubt it. I would be surprised if he even knows they are visiting this weekend. I would expect that both Alex and Serrel will likely take some additional visits at other schools pursuing them before they commit although you never know when a kid will be star stuck after his visit. Alex has said he is planning on visitng Missouri and Florida and I think Serrel has a visit to Ole Miss schedule on September 9th.

But we will see. Just hope the guys have a great visit. The weather man looks like he is on board at this point.
