  • Rod Brown is averaging 12.2 pts and 6.7 reb at Pearl River. Also, according to his twitter has an offer from Tulsa. I wish him well but don't like former players to end up at conference rivals.

          • Adam Liberty went to ORU, which is IN Tulsa. Maybe that is what some are thinking of.

                  • Think about the guys that transferred out the last few years:

                    Rian Holland
                    Daishon Smith
                    Ty Taylor
                    Eric Hamilton
                    Corey Henderson
                    ......to name several.

All of these guys had very solid careers at other places. While they may not have been a great fit in our program, they were talented and undoubtedly benefited in the long run from our coaching staff.

Add Tevin Glass to that list. Went to play for Forbes at ETSU and did pretty well there.

                      • Committed to Tulsa tonight. Question is, will Frank Haith still be the coach next season?

                        • If he keeps winning he will be. Besides if the rumors that TU has some financial trouble it would make it difficult for a a better coach to have an interest in the job.

No he didn't, only one who did was Henderson. I posted this in another thread, and then saw this thread. Am Tulsa fan. Wondering what you think of Brown???

Side note: We have plenty of money to attract another coach. We just didn't want to go to a new coach with a major buyout, and before the Tv money starts coming in on the new contract. The appearance of it would not have been good with our financial situation. No buyout for Haith now. The latter part of his extension took out any significant buyout.
