Sources say WSU is showing interest in 5'10 point guard Jahsire Hardnett from Chipola JC. Jahshire is a redshirt freshman at Chipola with 3 years of D-1 eligibility remaining. Enrolled at Fordham for his freshman season before transferring to Chipola. Out of high school he had offers from WSU, Mississippi State, Cal, Texas Tech, UConn, Penn State, Tulsa, Houston, Ole Miss and many other lower D-1 schools.

Here is some reading about Jahshire switching high schools and transferring from Fordham. Looks like some of the recruiting services had him ranked as a 4-star at one point in time and several had him as a 3-star recruit.

For anyone who has played the game, watching this kid clap for the ball because maybe he hit his previous 3 shots and was feeling it is enough for me to keep looking until he signs the paperwork. For anyone who has ever played the game, seeing this kid average over 4 assists in Juco, while averaging over 15 ppg is enough for me to hope he wears black and gold.
