I'd expect to see us sign one, or maybe two, high school players that aren't on this list. There are probably some JUCO prospects we don't know about yet and I can't speak for transfers if we end up going that route at all.

      • Since players can only take 5 official visits scheculing and taking one of those at Wichita State is pretty good indication that there is pretty strong interest on the part of the player. Doens't guarantee anything for sure but at least you know the kid has you fairly high on his list. I suppose some kids could take a few unofficial visits as well especially if they have interested schools that are geographically close to them like the Memphis kids.

Yeah it's not like a trip to Wichitacompares favorably to a trip to Florida or New Orleans or ...

Why is Miller Kopp still on the list. He's crossed us off.

I made the list from shocks02 list and a few other players we were familiar, like Israel Barnes. Even though Kopp recently crossed us off, he was on our radar for some time. I felt posters may have a better feel for his "level" than some of the others on the list and he worked as a comparison player. Also added were current recruits that have committed to WSU. I meant this to be a ranking/rating tool guide. I hold no ill will to those who choose anther school. Sorry if it was confusing.

                  • No ill will from me regarding the players who don't have us as a finalist. There is a lot of recruiting information to keep track of the past year or so and I would say I'm indifferent to those players and would rather spend my time following recruits who are considering Shocker visits. It appears that we have a good number of those left.

                    • I thought baseball was a game of failure but based on the number of offers we have made what are we hoping to hit this year in the MBB recruiting wars? Something like 0.100 or perhaps less. Tough game.

                      • The Shocks will be replacing 6 seniors and possibly 1 or 2 underclassmen at the end of this season. 3G says he needs at least 1 of everything plus a special player.

I took the nifty list that @ShockTalk put together and added just a bit of color.

I saw where he tweeted the following:

                              NEFTA ⚡️‏ @alvarez2neftali Aug 11

My first official visit Wichita State #ShockerNation

Not sure if that means he took his first official trip to Wichita State at that time or that he has scheduled his first official trip to Wichita for some unspecified date. I have not seen anything else about this. Do you have something esle that confirms he actually took the visit last week?

Updated for Udeze visit back in mid-June from what I could find.

Added highlights for the players who still have us on their cut lists.

                                Thanks for the input.
