Looks like a drive first, pass efficient PG. Pretty nice handles but not jaw dropping. Uuuuuuugly jumper. Not that it means anything, just an observation.

ATLANTA – Newton’s (Covington, Ga.) Ashton Hagans isn’t supposed to be producing like this. Logical progression says the 6-foot-4 point guard should take his sophomore year to learn and grow, show …

Article from USA Today on Ashton. This kid will end up being at least a 4* recruit by all major services.

UK is getting involved with Ashton now. Jerry Meyer at 247 put a crystal ball on UK a couple of days ago. http://247sports.com/Player/Ashton-Hagans-93920

Appears it was a short run for WSU's recruitment of Ashton. He has visited Kentucky, Georgia Tech, Georgia and Auburn. His list includes those four schools plus Oklahoma State, Florida, Florida State, Tennessee and Wake Forest.

It's impressive we even made this list. Ashton will be a 5-star prospect sooner rather than later. Dream big Gregg, dream big.

He's a Georgia boy, he might have grown up dreaming of playing for them.

I think we are going to start seeing more of these "how did they get him?" Moments because of the FBI probes. The 6 figure contracts that some of these kids were signing to go to a particular few colleged are drying up, so there will be more of a level playing field as far as recruiting is concerned.

Just decommitted from UGA today. Doubt we're in on him, but noteworthy nonetheless.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him in Kentucky blue.

Word on the street is that he's reclassifying to 2018 class.
