Keep an eye on three-star wing Jared Ridder of Springfield (Mo.) Kickapoo. An athletic 6-foot-6 junior with good athleticism, Ridder has a pretty jumper and lots of range. He holds offers from Saint Louis, Missouri State, Air Force, IUPUI and Stetson among others. Thursday, he had assistants from Missouri and Wichita State watching very close.

That's too bad for MSU. Although probably very similar to WSU losing talent from our backyard in the 90s and early 2000s. That's not to say we don't have talent leave the city now, but the circumstances are completely different.

Not entirely surprising (at least as regards WSU), given his size / position, year in school, and the Shocks' roster distribution.

Not really that big of a miss. He comes from a nice family and seems like a good kid and all, but his game is just kind of meh. I watched Kickapoo play quite a bit and I never really got the hype. I wish him well at Xavier and hopefully he can get some good punches in when they get into a fight with Cincinnati like they always do and stuff.
