Tough call. A 6'5" PG would be tough to guard. However, Reaves is skinny as a rail and would need a year to build some strength. Ottey looks quicker, but I don't think his ceiling is as high. If we had a 6'5" PG with a 6'8" wing (Duff), all we need is a legit 7' center and we're bigger than quite possibly every team we would ever face, including in the NCAA tournament.

We already have offers out to 3 or 4 point guards, yes? I think you take the one you can get.

We need to offer this kid immediately. He can score in so many different ways. He'll bulk up in due time. Kids a gem, we need to lock him down quickly

We watched him last night and he will be here this weekend. I'm sure an offer isn't far away if it isn't there already.

Yea good point. I am sure they are just waiting to make the offer at a memorable time to get the most impact. Really impressed with his film though

Hypothetically, even if we offer this weekend and he commits we better hope he is a man of his word like Fred.

Psshh. Get back to me when they are using the two to guard the rest of the team, and the triangle to keep the ball out of his hands.

Very good point, AndShock. The next signing period is a long way away, and commitments at this point may not be worth the paper they're printed on until they are genuinely locked in with a signed LOI. Also, I wonder if there's a possibility this kid could end up at Sunrise for a post-grad year?

You are a little too giddy sounding on the possibility for my sensibilities.

I assume that if coach likes what he saw yesterday and he gets along with the Shocker team, then an offer will be extended.

I'm just going to throw this out there based on what I watched in Reaves' YouTube videos, fully aware that I may have no clue what I'm talking about. I saw a lot of ball-hoggery and very poor defense against him. Now, that could be because his supporting cast is poor and his talent makes the defense look bad.

That said, he's clearly got serious skills and will no doubt be a good college player, be it at WSU or wherever he chooses to go.

We need his confidence and swag...if he was a ball hog or had issues being a people person, then I highly doubt 3G3M wouldnt have invited him to visit over the weekend...
