That's what I see too. Nobody pays me for my opinion on basketball, but I thought his ball skills were a strength.

My opinion as well; impressive to me even though double teamed (triple at times) he did not turn the ball over. But moved the ball down court and scored himself or delivered the ball to a teammate for a score.

To me the question is how will he play with teammates who possess Division 1 skills?

Seeing as how you've commented about TT in multiple threads, it would seem that you're the most concerned with his transfer. Contribute to the conversation or get lost. It is the nature of CBB to have players get over recruited. Austin Reaves and Ty Taylor are no different. Deal with it. This thread however, is about AR. :frog:

            uh....no

I'm very excited about AR, why don't you tell us again how you think he will be over recruited next year.

for his heighth/length, he appears to have really good handles.

Don't worry, Ricky -- when you get up tomorrow you won't have missed a thing.

                        • Watched another video of this kid last night. Looked like mostly all of the other videos remixed with a few additions. Must say, the more I watch his videos, the more excited I get about his future as a Shocker.

                          • To me, he plays a lot like Ron in his high school videos. Handles are not real tight but good enough. He's got good court vision and ability to get to the rim. I don't see the concern about "looking down at the floor". He loses a little control of the ball a couple times and he puts his eyes on the ball to regain control, I don't see the big deal. He's not looking down all the time like that one poster said - he's 6'5", he's 6" taller than Fred and being compared to perhaps the best handler to ever play at WSU, that's a little unfair, IMO. I see a bright future for Austin Reaves.

                            • Wait until he gets to the Greg Heiar school of ball handling 101. The drill with the basketball and tennis ball at the same time.

I hope he improves if and when he gets here. I'm not picking on AR just to pick a fight. I am just seeing posters get too optimistic about his future as a 1. I think AR looks good, but even FVV's poop stinks.
