He's actually picking whichever team wins tonight. I don't know if that should factor into the decision to play FVV or not.

              • Kid really wanted to commit when he visited but other centers of influence told him he needed to take his other visits. A couple of schools wouldn't commit to him being plan A

                  • Big time! Great news because it seemed like the number of quality big men available was dwindling quickly. It's not to be overlooked that we beat out an offer from Mississippi State for this kid, Ben Howland has been pulling in 4 and 5 star recruits since he stepped foot in Starkville and I believe has the #4 ranked 2016 class right now.

I'm sure this will be debated at great lengths over the next few months, but I believe this will be the last scholly we hand out for 2016.

                    • This is a big get for us. He'll fall in line as the next JUCO success story at WSU. We needed another good big man and he will fit in nicely.

According to 24/7 Sports, we've gotten 2 of the top 20 juco players in the 2016 class!

                          • Interesting sidenotes . . .

In Pearl River's three games so far, Willis has come off the bench (according to box scores at njcaa.org)

6'11 Jabari Craig, once a highly recruited big man who was on the Hutch CC roster last year, transferred to Pearl River. He's averaging 4 pts and 4 rebs.
