I remember a few football seasons back one of the Kouandijo brothers putting on an Auburn cap at his signing ceremony, but not pen to paper, and later that night signing with Alabama instead. You never know until the letter shows up, and even then only if it has all the required signatures.

I know he had some girl on his Twitter telling him he should go to ASU because she'd only be 4 hours away. Zero idea if that's slowing his decision or not, but at that age, girls often have more pull than they should.

Passeo High School in Kansas City had a wideout that was 1st team Parade all-American who was expected to announce he was attending the University of Missouri. About an hour prior to his news conference, Don Fambrough, Kansas Jayhawks Football Coach and one of his assistants show up. The assistante is carrying a briefcase. They go visit the kid. Shortly thereafter, the kid announces he signed with KU.

Don Fambrough was long gone about a year later. He was fired to lessen the punishment from the NCAA for giving the kid a briefcase full of cash.


That was shortly after Eric Dickerson got the new Trans-Am from SMU.
