Covington may very well be the most talented player in the Philadelphia Catholic League that came off of the bench. With Neumann’s loaded guard corps ahead of him that featured Ja’Quan Newton, Troy Harper and Lamarr Kimble, Covington was the silent assassin off the bench that provided extra scoring and solid ball handling skills when needed. A 6-foot-1 point guard, Covington is a lock-down defender and has great court vision on the offensive end. He has shown a streaky ability to knock down jumpers from range. Having already received an offer from Penn back in June, Covington will look to add some more names to a growing list of interest that includes La Salle, Towson, Colgate, Penn, Holy Cross, Lehigh, Brown, Princeton, Rider and Cornell.
