Wonder if these Clemson recruits know that the school for some reason thought it was a good idea to have a mandatory questionnaire for students to complete about their sexual practices?

Apparently someone with at least half a brain (and thus one notch up from the rest of the Clemson administration) decided it wasn't such a great idea, so that the survey is suspended, at least for now. But who wants to deal with that crap or a school that even seriously considers it wise? Someone closer to the situation than I am, please tell me -- surely WSU doesn't do anything like this? Talk about fodder for negative recruiting.

There ain't much in Greenville, S.C. Just Bob Jones University and, of course, Clemson (in the area). It's a pretty area....and a pretty backwards area (think Deliverance).

Wonder if there's some 'moral thought pollenation' going on here.

At any rate, this kind of government-sanctioned trolling needs to stop (and so glad we aren't doing it).

Believe it or not, khan, it was passed off by Clemson as Title IX training. Maybe Bruner will conclude that he doesn't really need that much help with Title IX.

How long has it been since you visited Greenville?

It is one the fastest growing cities in the country and has a culinary scene that is arguably the best in America for metro areas <300k.

Maybe, but what culinary delicacies are they cooking up? Possum? Squirrel?

                      ;)

Using the french word écureuil lets them charge triple though. They're sly in SC.

I visited Greenville (aka 'the upstate' ) last about 5 years ago. Airport is OK, if you like to fly into Atlanta). The best words I could use to describe the airport in Charlotte can be summed up in two phrases: 1) toilet bowl (unless you like Bojangles Chicken and 2) Bermuda triangle - planes fly in, bot they don't fly out.

The culinary scene is overrated, I'd rather go to Fayetteville and visit the Vanderbilt estate. Seafood at the 'best seafood restaurant in town' (at $50 per head for an Entree) was not fresh. The microbrewery WAS better than anything I experienced in Wichita (I don't think that is as true these days). Their pizza and appetizers were decent.

The best restaurant I visited there was an upscale Sushi restaurant near the Whole Foods.

I think the foods better in Amarillo. I don't think it's fair to compare it to Houston. Also, I don't care for pulled pork swimming in sauce. I prefer brisket and beef ribs. I would wager it would be extremely difficult to buy a brisket in a grocery store there without a special order. I also visited a steakhouse that was OK for a city its size, but definitely wasn't flemings or Schula's quality.

On the other hand, they DO have white Castles and Steak and Shakes. They get extra points for that.

Found the locals way too fundie for me. I think BJU is a wart on their city. I will say the non-fundies I met were very nice, typical southern hospitality.

I would much rather live in Wichita than Greenville. That being said, I'd much rather visit Wichita. I've lived in large cities for so long, I don't think I would enjoy a slower, more laid-back lifestyle. Anything less than 500,000 people is a tad boring.

Yep, sounds just like Deliverance ;)

Back on track...seems like we've been hitting SC early and often the last few years with top prospects. Anyone know which assistant draws that territory?
