I remember watching a whole show on espn about how Marshall Henderson was such an interesting guy and how he was doing well and getting on top of his issues... Like he was some kind of role model. Then it seems like a week later he had gotten himself in trouble again

I think that is rash to develop judgemental opinions of others on Shockernet because I don't really know anything about you except what you write down once or twice a day. That is a very poor sample for me to arrive at such an opinion. Some on this forum have not only arrived at such an opinion regarding a Shocker recruit (possibly a future Shocker) from a 4 minute mixed tape video that includes footage of dunk contests, and AAU games where discipline is not a priority, etc. but have chosen to write about it. Coach Marshall has always chosen fine young men to represent our university and maintained a tight ship and I have faith in him to continue his high standards and fine record in that regard.

Haven't watched the video and I have no opinion of the young man. I was responding to the comment about polarizing fans. Jamar with all of his athleticism and determination did polarize some folks with his facial expressions and it seemed some of the officials. I could not care less about other schools fans feelings towards our players because I too believe that any young man HCGM brings into the program he will be a class act.

You gotta watch the video! Dude is an athletic character at least and special basketball player/a-hole at most. Tons of on and off court "antics" that make the vid entertaining. He's a bit of a peacock.
