    Nick Faust

What position does he play? HIs name has already been removed from the Maryland Athletic Website via the Basketball roster.

He is listed as a Guard on ESPN and at 6'6", he is probably a 2-3 combo wing.

Now granted, Faust played against ACC competition but compare and contrast:

Big time HS recruit. Big time athlete at 6'6. Long range shooter. Plays a lot like Nick Wiggins.

How does someone like Faust get a reputation as a long range shooter while someone like Cotton gets a reputation as a liability from long range?

                  Faust career: 3PT: 108/346 31.2% FG: 313/808 38.7%
                  Cotton career: 3PT: 75/205 36.6% FG: 253/557 45.4%

My point is not that Faust isn't any good, rather that Tekele Cotton has been underrated his entire career. He's been labeled as a "defensive stopper" and people have forgotten to notice how good he has become offensively.

Tekele Cotton for 2015 MVC PoY. Look at the progression of his development. Look at his stats. Look at the 2 guys on his own team he would have to beat out for the award. Get very excited about November.

Nick Wiggins is a much better comparison.

TKO is going to be amazing this year. Senior year does things to people and he's already been really good.

And I will agree with others that tossing in Faust to sit this year and take over for Cotton next year to smooth out any kinks on the roster is appealing.

                              With better coaching, probably.
