    Wichita State, St. John's and several Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference schools have shown interest in Ray, a 6-foot-3 guard who plays for Middletown High School. He averaged 18.9 points and eight rebounds as a junior. He has scored 1,115 career points, 375 shy of the Middletown record.

    From the N.Y. town that gave us Cle. Other sources list him at 6-1 or 6-2.

    Not bad numbers last year for this guy:

    Kelly will have to rebuild around junior swingman Aaron Ray, who averaged 17.7 points, 10.2 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game last year.
