  • KU Guard Andrew White 111 to transfer

Says he was a top 50 recruit

    Would we have any interest?
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kickass ... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

He is a guard who could hardly get any playing time with the weak guard play at KU. How could he ever get playing time in the WSU backcourt?

He's going back east to the Virginia area. Bank on that.

This has been known around Lawrence for a looooooooooong time (like mid-December). Surprised it took this long to get out.

He's a big, physical guard who didn't want to or couldn't play defense. He'll find a home, but WSU would not be a good fit.
The mountains are calling, and I must go.

        Andrew White 111?

Is that kind of like Andre 3000?

        Or Powerman 5000?

Don't see why we would have any interest.

If he couldn't get playing time at KU this year he's surely not going to play at WSU.

From what little I've seen, he's a finesse player with a struggling shot. The CAA may be a better fit.

He should look into joining Milton Doyle at the home for wayward Jayhawks (Loyola of Chicago) or try the home of wayward shoot first guards (Mizzou)... oh wait.. that would be Tulsa now... with Frank Haith,..

That's why he couldn't get any playing time, DJ. If he had been Andrew White 3000 -- or 11000 -- he'd have been on the floor.
