I don't understand the totals under HS 2014: Commits = 4; Spots left = 1. I thought we were supposed to be fully committed.

From our current roster of 13 ships:

We lose 4 seniors plus DJ Bowles ship no longer counts against the limit. So we have 5 available:

Sophomores:

Freshmen:

9. Wamukota (Sophomore)
HS 2014:

That is 13, how is there 1 left open?

It's an interesting table, but if you look more closely you'll see they're overlooking Wamukota as a signee. They also have Hamilton as "committed," but he's signed, too.

Just read Lutz column in the Eagle. It might be an oversight, but when he talked about what the incoming recruiting class looks like he didn't mention Eric Hamilton.

Just read Lutz column in the Eagle. It might be an oversight, but when he talked about what the incoming recruiting class looks like he didn't mention Eric Hamilton.

I think that's an oversight as Hamilton is not yet a polished player and is the least likely to contribute next season despite his athleticism and inside-out skills. Morris, Kelly, and Brown will all see the court next season.

I emailed Lutz early this morning about this. He replied quickly saying the only reason for leaving Hamilton out was that through his discussions with the coaches, they indicated Hamilton may not be ready to contribute as soon as the others.
