Another guard wouldn't surprise me one bit this fall. We are flush with forwards and a 2nd wing could easily play the 3 with Landry at the 2.

BTW, following the graduation of FVV, Baker, and Wessel, a starting combo of 6-3 Henderson, 6-4 Shamet, and 6-6 Brown has a very nice and very real possibility for our backcourt.

McQuaid is scheduled for an official to Michigan State this weekend. Greg McDermott of Creighton had an in home visit with McQuaid on Sep. 11th.

The mighty Spartans are pretty resourceful recruiters in this part of the country -- didn't they also collect Marvin Clark and Lourawls (I love typing that name) Nairn from Sunrise? Gotta watch out for Izzo and his staff these days.

Yeah...I'm pretty broken up about it for them too.

Especially after checking their site to see who else they had in the hopper and finding that they rationalize the loss by saying "Wichita came off a Final Four and gave a scholarship to a NAIA D2 guy."

Of course, no mention of the rest of an incredible, multi-starred '14 class.

              My schadenfreude is showing here.

And when Wamukota turns out to be a good player, Creighton fans will be watching him in the NCAA tournament asking why they can't get guys like that. Then they will rationalize that by saying they don't have low enough admission standards to let in "dumb JUCOs."
