Sean Crawford - Committed to Fairfield

I haven't heard anyone mention this 6'0" guard from Notre Dame Prep. Originally from Bayside, NY. He is in the 2008 class. WSU has at least medium interest with no offer.

According to sources close to the situation, New Hampshire is close to offering. Crawford has also received interest from Wichita St., Hawaii, St. Francis (N.Y.), Jacksonville, Iona, Drake and Canisius.

IMO it's unlikely we are pushing hard for Crawford. Fairfield is making progress with him and he took an unofficial there. St. Francis is also very much in the picuture and Drake is still interested. However, he remains open.

One story reports that Crawford was close to committing a few weeks ago and still might be but didn't say to which school. Checking message boards, it looks like Fairfield. Rumor is he is a lock for them.

Apparently, Crawford is waiting on Fairfield and not the other way around. St. Francis' offer is still out there.
