I think the questions are valid. Is he quick enough to play guard at WSU? Maybe. I want him to be good enough to be at WSU and then to chose us. Not sure if that's the case.

      He didn't mention questions.

He said that he wasn't athletic enough to play at WSU. Obviously, he was the best player on the film, competing against 4A competition. He obviously can shoot. We didn't see any thunderous dunks and we don't get to see him against top AAU competition.

This is the same crap said about Wessel, and Frankamp. Now we hear from Mike Kennedy that Conner did a 360 dunk in practice. While Conner isn't very big or strong, he is evidently a nice, under appreciated athlete. I think that some people make assumptions/comparisons that are premature. There are small town kids who become very good Division I Basketball players. KSU just signed one this year that we wanted. I will wait until I have more information.

No issue with this take. Highlight videos show very little. They show even less when you are playing in western, KS. What I gathered from the video was: he's got a nice shot. He has some post moves. He dominates his competition. He's not a run and jump athlete.

I don't know if that makes him a WSU guy.

The highlight clip appears to be from his sophomore season. Two years before any possibility of being a Shocker. Athleticism should improve. BTW it's my understanding he is averaging more than 30 this year. Plenty of time to see more before making any decisions.

I do believe we need not be too hasty prior to quickly dismissing a 6'4" kid from Western Kansas who can shoot.

Where did I say he wasn't athletic enough for WSU?

And in this case, if I recall correctly, also has a pretty good athletic pedigree...

I hope no one thinks I was dismissing him. I am cautiously optimistic about both Holmes and Parnell.
