Having FVV, Ron and Tekele around to feed the post + us losing Cle, CJ and Kadeem = opportunity any sane post player would kill for.

But I often tend to over-value the lure of a good basketball career decision when it comes to these sort of things. It seems that very often setting, proximity to home one way or another, the name on the jersey, the name on your opponent's jerseys and other "peripheral" items tend to factor more heavily on some recruits mind than they would on mine.

Seriously though I think 3G's history of success with JUCO players has to be a big plus.

Another nice number the Shocks may have going for them at some point this season is 1 -- as in ranking some Monday if they can manage to stay unbeaten long enough, or as in regional seeding; or best of all, as in final standing after the tournament ends in April. That should be a somewhat attractive number, assuming a scholarship is there to be had.
First things first, however: at Evansville can be another dangerous game (as in the first 10 minutes in Wichita, rather than the last 30) -- let's hope the guys refocus after that less than stellar effort against SIU and avoid picking up the wrong kind of 1, as in the loss column.
