I guess he could of been a placement by somebody else, but somebody has him pretty much wrapped up.

Now that we actually have somebody on a covert mission on the inside, anything can happen.

Visiting Louisville this weekend. No other visits scheduled.

Rick Pitino seems positioned to add a surprise commitment days before the start of the early signing period. InsideTheVille.com has the scoop on 6-11 center Bakary Konate, who makes an official visit to Louisville this weekend.

Konate did not sign or commit with Louisville after his visit. IMO, chances are now slim he goes to Louisville as they just signed a big man from Norway.

He wasn't suited up the other night for the game against Cloud but was on the bench in street clothes.

The Cardinalsbeak.com is still thinking Konate will go to Louisville. They say it's between him and Jonah Bolden. They think Bolden will go to Kentucky.

Seems a little odd given that they did sign 7'2" Matz Stockton as you mentioned above, plus have signed #8 rated center Chinanu Onuaka a 6'10", and #14 rated PF Jaylen Johnson.

Coach Marshall and staff will explain it all to Bak and what it means.

Guess you didn't get the memo that Louisville is leaving the AAC to join the 7 foot and over league... :-)

                          To "Bak," Ricky?

You and Konate must be pretty tight -- I doubt that just anyone gets to call him Bak. Kind of like calling Magic Johnson "Earvin" -- a sign of being in the inner circle.
