We probably started recruiting the juco at Baton Rouge CC after his good showing at the Mullins camp. Interest from WSU, Gonzaga, Oregon, Hawaii, Washington State, Cincinnati, Florida State and Western Kentucky.

I'm thinking potential fallback option if we don't land someone like Wilkins, but we will have Brown coming in at that position as well as having Green. Always have to have options, but if we bring in a JC guy, I'd think a big post is the priority. Two JC guys makes that a pretty large JR class.

Rivals lists him as from California, so the heavy interest from the West Coast is no surprise. Judging from the picture that popped up on Rivals when Ii did a Google search, he looks more like Benoit's brother than son -- that's one of the oldest looking juco faces I've ever seen.
