Tweet from D-1 circuit is the first connection between Dennis and WSU that I've seen. I shouldn't have to fill you in on him. Just do a search of Shockernet if you need to .

Would be nice to get one of our own. Haven't seen him play but have heard some good things.

I've liked this young man ever since I saw him play out here in southern California.
      He plays hard and smart.

Hard and smart. Sounds like Shocker material to me.

And if I'm not mistaken, he started his career at East and then tranfered to Sunrise correct?

Is this guy related to Jason Dennis that played at North with Skip Nickerson?

There was a Larry Dennis that played at North - I don't recall a Jason.

Verbalcommits list his offers as K-State, Memphis, Denver, Western Kentucky and North Texas.

So apparently, still no offer to Dennis. Is it because:

                  (a) He isn't good enough to play at WSU?
                  (B) He has made it clear he thinks he is to good to play at WSU?
                  (c) Oh no. Another player from Sunrise Christian. What's the point? Kyle Lindsted will never allow one of his players to sign with WSU anyway.
                  (d) It's still early?
                  (e) None of the above?

I suppose there is one more choice:

                  (f) Shut-up moron. You don't know jack about basketball. Just because even two and three star centers are not chomping at the bit to play for a Final Four team that will not have a true center after this season doesn't mean anything!

                  :loyal:

Go ahead. I can take it.
"Hank Iba decided he wouldn't play my team anymore. He told me that if he tried to get his team ready to play me, it would upset his team the rest of the season." Gene Johnson, WU Basketball coach, 1928-1933.

I think it's closer to "a" but I wouldn't word it that way. More like we are not sold on him being what we are looking for.

He might not be the fit we're looking for. He's a little light, and plays more on the perimeter.

That's probably why most see him as a SF that may be able to go inside at times. There's nothing wrong with that.

Larry has had a relationship with our weight room staff for several years, and has always spoken well about wsu. Denver showed interest early so he's always been high on them. If 3G decides he's right for our system, he will make an offer, Sunrise kid or not.

Im not sure if their has been a renewed interest in Larry but as I understand it he is becoming more interested in us. He is still growing 6'10"plus from what I am being told
                            .
