Loyola and Xavier not having engineering degrees is probably a stumbling block for them getting O'Mara. It is the main reason I believe we may a shot at him.

Whatever it takes. That degree option has helped WSU in the past.

I'd definitely be happy if we got this kid. He'd be a solid presence inside with the ability to stretch the D even.

O'Mara would give us a very nice center, and one that doesn't have to score to be effective…but he can score.

Recruiting Services leaving the Shocks off the list

Trop, maybe you can answer this for me but why is it that the Shocks are left off the offer lists for most of the guys we are after. O'mara is a good example in that he has the shocks on his final list and yet half of the sites, espn being the biggest culprit, don't even have us offering.

Most sites do little in giving database updates. Verbalcommits is doing the best job in this area.

Thanks for the update on his visit to Loyola and his next to Xavier.
I haven't heard much about him lately and was wondering about his progress.

It's not going to bother me if O'Mara ends up at Loyola. From what I've seen of Moser and Marshall, he's probbly a better fit with Moser's game than with Marshall's. I'm in favor of Loyola raising their recruiting level and becoming an upper-half team in the league.

About 90% of recruiting battles are lost. In the recruiting process there are many worse outcomes than losing O'Mara to a team you play 2 or 3 times a year, when that team needs to improve to become a challenge for your team.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

“@MOStateNation: Looks like Sean O'mara has choose Xavier University over Wichita State.”

                              Anyone have confirmation of this?

Some were saying he would announce today, but he hasn't. Some Xavier posters say they have insde info that he will pick them. Everybody thinks it's between Xavier and Loyola.
