Yep! Even if Watson is here next year, that only leaves senior Carter, Junior/Senior Watson, and Freshman/Sophomore Morris. One more big (minimum) will be needed to complete the rotation.

Two visits appear to be up for grabs. Wake Forest is this week and Loyola and Xavier are likely. He is unsure about the other two. He went to Dayton on an unofficial in January and they will be in consideration.

How are we not making final lists for these bigs? We will have PT available and we've shown we can compete nationally and play in an amazing atmosphere at home.

Point? He and Carter will be the only returning post players on the team so there's definitely PT available for a FR big, and considering Carter is a SR, good PT is available for four years as long as you can bring it. A FR big in the '14 class would have every opportunity to contribute and develop in game his entire career. You can't often say that. And even if we bring in a JUCO big, you ideally want at least 4 post players (PF/C) in your rotation. So PT, and a decent amount, will be available to a FR.

Maybe he is Irish Catholic so there is an appeal for Loyola in Chicago?

Oh I agree with you. I just wanted to get a shameless plug for Shaq in there. Its definitely surprising to see a guy put Loyola down as a finalist and not WSU. I'll have to go with the "maybe some of these are plan B's" option for now.

Or maybe I'll watch that clip of Marshall saying "Are you worried? I'm not worried" a few times.

Simple -- Loyola is local, Wichita is not.
