Actually, DeSoto is in the DFW metro area (south side, sort of in the middle), and they appear to have a strong overall athletic program.

Strange thing about Matson is I couldn't find anything about his play in high school. I just got the info of him being at Desoto off the D1 Circuit (EYBL) site.
