  • Jacob Hammond '14 C 6-10

    A tweet from 247Sports:

"2014 Oklahoma Magic (OK) Center Jacob Hammond is receiving interest from Wichita State and Colgate. @J_ham_24 http://verbalcommits.com/players/jacob-hammond"

They also reported interest by K-State, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, TCU, Washington State and UCLA. He was at UCLA on Monday. He recently decommitted from Oklahoma as I mentioned in the miscellaneous section. He was at Sunrise Christian last year but has left that program. He was probably placed there by Oklahoma. He is a Oklahoma City native.

Hammond also has interest from Indiana. He will go back to being home schooled in Oklahoma. The following video is probably at least a year old.

Sounds like he is star-struck by all the attention he is getting.

I didn't think he would receive this much attention. Let's see who else offers but my current take is he is attracted to the BCS.

Sure seems that way, trop. Maybe it takes more than a mere Final Four trip to turn some heads -- guess the Shocks will just have to do it again.

                  Sam Duren tweets:

"Wichita State's Gregg Marshall also watched some of 2014 United Prep C Jacob Hammond's last game"

Tubby Smith ( Texas Tech) and Tim Miles (Nebraska) also present.

Just watched that video above. This kid is definitely comfortable in his body and moves very well and has a soft touch. I understand the interest.

But still listed on Rivals database page, medium interest, no offer and no visit to any school yet.

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."
