The fact that he is under the radar and WSU and MurryState are the only two that have offered makes me wonder if 3G still does not have deep connections in that part of the country and is willing to field phone calls from coaches from perhaps smaller schools when they tell him they have someone that can play. I really believe that even though 3G seems to be a lightening rod that he still garners a great deal of respect by those folks that he built relationships with while he was at Winthrop.

We've had a few anecdotal stories of HS coaches tweeting their respect for HCGM, but I have no doubt he is a living legend among South Carolina prep coaches.

Let's not get cocky. I'm sure this is how Texas was talking about Zach Brown. Lots of factors go into recruiting like connections to specific assistants.

That said the FF is a great ace in the hole.

Howard is playing well but after this article you have to question if the Shockers have offered. The Marshall offer is the only one he claimed. My guess is Northeastern and Hofstra came after the interview.
